"A Woman"

This is written in the Hebrew Talmud, the book where all of the sayings and preaching of Rabbis are conserved over time.

It says:

"Be very careful if you make a woman
cry, because God counts her tears. The woman
came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be
walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but
from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be
protected, and next to the heart to be loved."

Depression

If I feel depressed, I go to work. Work is always an antidote to depression.

-Eleanor Roosevelt

Children

What I have learned from my own experience is that the most important ingredients in a child’s education are curiosity, interest, imagination, and a sense of adventure of life.

-Eleanor Roosevelt

Criticism

It seems to me that I cannot afford, as a self-respecting individual, to refuse to do a thing merely because it will make me disliked or bring down a storm of criticism on my head.

-Eleanor Roosevelt

Do what you can! “If you can’t feed 100 people, then feed just one.”

-Mother Teresa

~~~~~~~~~
Love
The biggest disease today is not leprosy or cancer or tuberculosis, but rather the feeling or being unwanted, uncared for, deserted by everybody. The greatest evil is the lack of love and charity, the terrible indifference towards one’s neighbor who lives at the roadside, the victim of exploitation, corruption, poverty, and disease.
-Mother Teresa
~~~~~~~~~

Sincerity

Don’t complain about what you don’t have. Use what you’ve got. To be less than your best is a sin.

-Oprah Winfrey

~~~~~~~~~
Wisdom
Ánybody who believes in something without reservation, believes that this thing is right and should be, has stamina to meet obstacles and overcome them.”
-Golda Meir
Wisdom
Anybody who believes in something without reservation believes that this thing is right and should be, has the stamina to meet obstacles and overcome them.
-Golda Meir
Self-Pity
Self-pity is our worst enemy and if we yield to it, we can never do anything wise in the world.
-Helen Keller
~~~~~~~~~

Daring

The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do.

-Amelia Earhart

~~~~~~~~~
Opportunity
Never lose an opportunity of urging a practical beginning, however small, for it is wonderful how often in such matters the mustard-seed germinates and roots itself.
-Florence Nightingale
~~~~~~~~~

Hang in there!

When you get into a tight place and everything goes against you, till it seems as though you could not hang on a minute longer, never give up then, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.

-Harriet Beecher Stowe

~~~~~~~~~
Regrets!
The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.
-Harriet Beecher Stowe
~~~~~~~~~

Integrity

I put a lot of emphasis on how to treat people. The reason for this is simple. The real success of our personal lives and careers can best be measured by the relationships we have with the people most dear to us—our family, friends, and coworkers. If we fail in this aspect of our lives, no matter how vast our worldly possessions or how high on the corporate ladder we climb, we will have achieved very little.

-Mary Kay Ash

~~~~~~~~~
Family
Never forget, your family should always have priority over your work.
-Mary Kay Ash
~~~~~~~~~

Entrepreneur

If you are an entrepreneur planning to start your own company, I can’t think of a better place to begin than by operating your business by the Golden Rule. Make this a high priority; never make a decision that contradicts the Golden Rule.

-Mary Kay Ash

~~~~~~~~~
Achievements
Every achievement, big or small, begins in your mind.
-Mary Kay Ash
~~~~~~~~~

Happiness

My definition of happiness is having something to do what you love to do, someone to love, and something to look forward to.

-Mary Kay Ash
