synonymous with seduction,
mistress of manipulation,
accepting payment for persuasion,
wreaking vengeance for your nation.
A Philistine hating Israelites
yet embracing their hero
into your wanton bed,
searching his strong secrets.
You cajoled with cunning,
pled with petulance,
twisted his hair with tenderness.
Thrice he tricked you.
not seeing the trap
set for his final snaring.
Your strength, his weakness
your lap, his labyrinth
your voice, his Lorelei
your passion, his prison.
