What Mentoring has Done for Me

Getting in the Word

2 Corinthians 4: 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake.

I love being a part of the mentoring program. 

I have heard a lot of sad stories. 

With each story I am able to search the scriptures, getting in my Bible reading more consistently, searching for articles where there is a good ending and I feel good about encouraging someone. 

The research has really encouraged me too and given me deeper understanding for those I am trying to help. 

I feel like this experience has helped me grow in my daily walk with Christ. 

I am able to witness his love to others in a greater measure. 

I want to thank those who work so hard to give women like me this opportunity.
