I Love Him!

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:29).
The story is told of a beautiful cathedral. Tourists from around the world would come to admire the beautiful architecture.
One afternoon, an older man opened the door of the building and walked to the very front row and sat down. He looked up at the photo of Jesus Christ for a while and then said, “I love him!”
Unnoticed by him, a woman was sitting in the row behind him and when she heard him utter his love for God, she too said, “I love Him!”
A young boy was sitting behind them and following their lead, he too stated, “I love Him!”
The tourist group sitting in the balcony had come in to admire the beautiful architecture of the cathedral. Instead they experienced true worship by three people who loved Jesus. A simple, short declaration of love for God. But a most powerful witness!
The story touched my heart. Loving God, after all, is the first and greatest commandment,
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:29).
Do you love Jesus? Why not tell someone today?
Lord Jesus, I love You from the bottom of my heart. Help me to love You more. Amen.
